History of PIKP

PIKP Institute, formerly known as Kampong Cham Provincial Vocational Training Center (PTC), is the only public institution in Kampong Cham Province established in 1994 from 1994 to 1998, sponsored by the International Labor Organization (ILO). Vocational training programs to increase employment.

From 1998 to 2004, the center was under the control of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. From 2005 to present, the center is under the management of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.

In June 2018, the Center received the Sub-Decree of the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia No. 89 on the transformation of Kampong Cham Vocational Training Center into Kampong Cham Provincial Polytechnic Institute.
